Well.......except CNYE......cos I have to be home for the family feast that happens every year. Doh!

The Japanese feast
Our kind friend invited us over to sample a range of his homemade japanese dishes. And oh my freakin god IT TASTED FUCKIN YUMMY! (Sorry for the language) but it was freakin good stuff!! We started off with:
Salmon sashimi and seaweed salad

Of course.....you cannot have sashimi without HANDMADE wasabi leaf! Made from homemade wasabi!

and then there was boiled dumplings...

Followed by (from the bottom): Potatoes with thickened dashi sauce, Japanese prawn curry, yakitori, Oyakodon, the remains of the entree.

with a side dish of homemade udon soup

Of course, a meal isn't complete without dessert. Behold! The secret within!

Homemade green tea ice cream

And together, they make the perfect union........

Thanks for the wonderful meal! So when is the next dinner party? Remind me to bring my own tupperware next time to take a "doggy bag" home. mmMmmMmMmMMMmmm *Rubs my tummy*
